La nueva directora gerente del Área es Ana Leal (Cañete de las Torres, Córdoba, 1964), es licenciada en Medicina y Cirugía General, por la Universidad de Córdoba, especialista en medicina familiar y comunitaria, además de máster en Urgencias y Emergencias por la Universidad de Córdoba y experta en Gestión Sanitaria por la Universidad de Granada.
Anteriormente ha sido directora de la Unidad de Gestión Clínica de Montoro (Córdoba) dependiente del Distrito Sanitario Córdoba-Guadalquivir desde 2007 hasta marzo del 2019. Ana Leal se propone para el Área Sanitaria Norte de Córdoba ofrecer una asistencia sanitaria comprometida con la eficiencia y la calidad mejorando la accesibilidad para la ciudadanía en nuestro sistema de salud.
Ana Leal sustituye en el cargo a Pedro Ceballos que recibió la comunicación del cese hace unos días.
